Some countries require websites to be very explicit about which cookies they use and for what purpose, especially with the EU cookie law.
Below you can find the full list of the cookies that Mouseflow uses:
1st party cookie, session lifetime: A cookie for identifying the current session on a website
The cookie contains information about the current session but does not contain any information that can identify the visitor. This cookie is deleted when the session ends, meaning when the user leaves the website.
1st party cookie, persistent: A cookie for checking if the user is new or returning
This cookie establishes whether the user is a returning or first-time visitor. This is done simply by a yes/no toggle and no further information about the user is stored. This cookie has a lifetime of 90 days.
These cookies are essential for the functionality of our service. Mouseflow does not use 3rd party cookies or any other client storage mechanism.
It is possible to prevent Mouseflow from setting cookies in your visitors' browsers by enabling our built-in integration.
Alternatively, you can ensure that Mouseflow will only start recording after the visitor has given their consent to run cookies by customizing your tracking code.
