mf_user | 1st party cookie, persistent: A cookie for checking if the user is new or returning | This cookie establishes whether the user is a returning or first-time visitor. This is done simply by a yes/no toggle and no further information about the user is stored. This cookie has a lifetime of 90 days. |
These cookies are essential for the functionality of our service. Mouseflow does not use 3rd party cookies or any other client storage mechanism.
Notes
It is possible to prevent Mouseflow from setting cookies in your visitors' browsers by enabling our built-in integration.
Alternatively, you can ensure that Mouseflow will only start recording after the visitor has given their consent to run cookies by customizing your tracking code.
