Mouseflow offers the page identifiers setting so that you can easily separate your data (heatmaps, funnels, forms, feedback campaigns, etc.) based on the different URL parameters in your URL's querystring.

Example: Let's say I have a website with these two different URLs

https://example.com/products/foo?page=display

https://example.com/products/foo?page=specifications

By default, Mouseflow would track both of these pages as just /products/foo

However, I want to have a different heatmap that corresponds to the querystring (everything after the '?'). Specifically, I want to separate heatmaps for all the different values of the "page" parameter.

To do this, I will go to my website settings > advanced settings > page identifiers. Enter the "key" of the parameter you are wanting to track. In this case, the key is "page". Hit Enter, and save to apply the settings.

This change may take up to 24hours to affect returning visitors to your site.
